This visionary woman is Jayanti Chauhan who grew up in Delhi, Mumbai, and in New York City, which gave her vast and diverse cultural exposure. Her passion for fashion made her pursue her higher education in fashion, She joined the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles, where she learned product development.

Jayanti Chuhan further developed a skill in fashion styling at Istituto Marangoni Milano And earned a diploma in fashion styling and photography from the London College of Fashion. Additionally, she holds a degree in Arabic from the University of London’s School of Oriented and African Studies (SOAS). To gain valuable experience in the industry, she interned at several renowned fashion brands.

At the age of 24 years old Jayanty Chauhan took over her family business “Bisleri” for the first time. Her father Ramesh Chauhan gave the responsibilities of the “Bisleri” business to her and said they don’t want to sell it anyway. She Took charge of the Dehli office first, where she started from the ground level and took action to modernize the plant and automate some processes.

To bring her global exposure and cross-industry experience to the table she expanded her lead role in the Mumbai office till 2011. She gave a new look to the Sales and Marketing departments. And also involved herself actively in the development of Advertising, Communication strategies, and Brand positioning.

Jayanti Chauhans leadership is like golden era for “Bisleri”. Bisleri diversified its portfolio under Jayanti’s leadership. Jayani played a key role in streamlining operations for various Bisleri products, Including Bisleri Mineral Water, Vedica Natural Mineral Water (targeted at the luxury segment), Fizzy fruit drinks, Bisleri Hand Purifier, and New Product Development.

Jayanti shared her business philosophy in an exclusive interview with Forbes: “I don’t believe in really looking at competition as competition. I believe we are our competition”.

Ramesh Chauhan was ready for this deal to hand over his company “Bisleri” to Tata Group for Rs 7000 Crore. But later this deal was called off by his daughter Jayanti Chauhan, she decided to retain ownership of her family business which was built for many years. This decision shows her commitment to preserving the bisleri’s legacy and continuing to drive the brand’s growth.

According to the Dainik Bhaskar report, the international valuation of “Bisleri” in FY 2022 to 2023 was Rs 2300 crore.

Jayanti Chauhan Added “Khan” To Her Name.

A few years back, Jayanti Chauhan Added Khan to her surname which started an uproar in the media. Some even speculated that she had got married, but in an interview with Mint, she cleared the rumors spread among the people. Unfortunately, Jayanti’s father Ramesh Chauhan is married to a Muslim woman Zainab Khan. When the conversation with Mint, Jayanti was asked about the addition of Khan to her name, she replied I took “Khan” from my mother’s last name because she gave me birth.

Further, she shared, that she is still awaiting a special man in her life. She is an enthusiast of traveling and has done a series of family and solo trips or tours. But she still wants to travel with someone who loves her and respects her as much as she does him.
