If you are a little active on social media then you would have heard about the Wokf Board Amendment bill which was in trend on all the social platforms for so many days. We saw a social media war about this bill, one group supported a bill to pass and one group was against this bill.

So recently Assadduddin Owaisi said in a lecture, “That Ambani’s house Antilia is standing on an orphanage property which was under Waqf land. Waqfis had dedicated this land to orphans where orphans could live and study the Quran and acquire education without any grief.

But India’s billionaire Mukesh Ambani bought this orphanage land by cheating on just Rs20 Cr and built his long building (Antilia) on this orphanage land. He was very angry and raised questions from the Government of India.

Is Mukesh Ambani’s House Antilia Stands On Orphanage Land? Are Asadduddin Owaisi’s Allegations true?

As per The New Indian Express, Mukesh Ambani built the Antilia on the orphanage land which was sold illegally in 2005, said the acting CEO of Maharastra State Board of Waqfs.

The land on which ‘Muffin-Antilia Commercial Private Limited’ is housed was purchased from the Trust in 2005. The Trust, which was instituted for the benefit of underprivileged children, had sold the 4,532 sqm land to Antilia Commercial Private Limited in July 2002 for just Rs 210.5 million when its market value was around Rs 1.5 billion.

In April 2002, the Currimbhoy Khoja Trust applied with the Charity Commissioner for permission to sell the land to Antilia Commercial. The Commissioner granted permission on August 27, 2002. Later, the transaction was found illegal by the then Maharashtra State Board of Wakfs, and a notice was sent to Antilia Commercial citing that it was a violation of Section 52 of the Wakf Act, 1995.

A video had gone viral of Arvind Kejriwal where he was seen saying, “Where Antilia stands is an orphanage land which is under Wakf board and I support this. And he said, “I am always with Wakf board and if my government would be in Mumbai then I would demolish the Antelia.

Here is that video.
