“Do You Consider Zepto A Success?”: Aadit Palicha Reply; Unique Advantage, India’s Talent.

Aadit Palicha, co-founder and CEO of Zepto, recently appeared on the Y Combinator podcast, where he discussed his journey to building a Unicorn quick commerce giant. When the question came to Zepto’s success, Palicha’s reply unfolded, revealing that he is not limited to only a delivery mindset but also an innovation.

The reply, which exposed India’s talent and filled the whole Indian heart with pride. When Garry Tan asked about the unique advantages of starting startups in India. In the reply to this question, Aadit Palicha reflected on India’s talent and told a key.

Palicha elaborated on how India’s talent pool is a big advantage for entrepreneurship, he said, “I think the advantage is that the talent is incredible. I initially didn’t realise this deeply, but you know we interviewed American engineers – and they’re exceptional – but we said hey, the guys that we have here are as good”.

He further highlighted on big internet startups leveraging this talent pool, he told to garry tan, “I think a lot of people underestimate that. That’s why you know a lot of great internet startups set up offices in Bangalore and hire people there”.

Moreover, he highlights on ease of getting high quality talents in India compare to in San Fransisco. Aadit Palicha said, “So the big advantage is you just have such an incredible talent base. And although it’s very competitive, it’s still a lot less competitive to get such high quality talent than it would be sitting in San Francisco“.
