Elon Musk prioritized Skills over Degrees.
Elon Musk, who is always sustained in trends for his indifferent steps, steps which always stand against the market trends, has again come to everyone’s eyes, as he prioritized Skills over Degrees in an X post while announcing for ‘Hardcore Software Engineer’ for his vision of ‘Everything App’.
Elon Musk wrote in the post, “If you’re a hardcore software engineer and want to build the everything app, please join us by sending your best work to code@x.com.”
He further wrote about dominating skills over degrees, “We don’t care where you went to school or even whether you went to school or what “big name” company you worked at.”

Elon Musk Envisions Transforming X into Everything App.
Elon Musk always envisions making something known as impossible. He envisions transforming X (formerly known as Twitter) into ‘Everything App or Super App, which is aimed to serve as a multi-functional platform prioritizing social networking.
In October 2023, during an internal meeting, Musk described the company’s transformation from “Twitter 1.0” into the envisioned “everything app.” He highlighted the goal of building “a single application that encompasses everything, according to the Economic Times report.
According to a Reuters report, Musk’s concept of the everything app or a super app is an all-encompassing application that offers a range of services to users including messaging, social networking, peer-to-peer payments, and e-commerce shopping, among others.
Such apps are particularly popular in Asia such as WeChat in China which has more than a billion monthly users. The app allows users to book a car or taxi, send money to friends and family, or make payments at stores, the report said.
The report also pointed out the example of Grab, a leading super app in Southeast Asia that offers food delivery, ride-hailing, on-demand package delivery, and financial services and investing.
X CEO Linda Yaccarino: X Money, X TV
Linda Yaccarino, CEO of X formerly known as Twitter, recently shared a post on X, giving a hint regarding ‘Everything App’, it will roll out with streaming and financial services by 2025, where she mentioned X Money, and X TV as part of the upcoming expansion.
Yaccarino also mentions the upcoming X chatbot in 2025, named, Grok. On January 1, 2025, she wrote, “In 2024, X changed the world. Now, YOU are the media! 2025 X will connect you in ways never thought possible. X TV, X Money, Grok, and more. Buckle up. Happy New Year!”
