The post recalled Musk’s question to Agrawal while firing. But not that question is asked to every federal worker. Elon Musk, founder and CEO of Tesla, and head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), responded to a post on Saturday. The post highlighted, how Musk is asking the same question to every federal employee, once asked to Agrawal, former CEO of Twitter.
“DOGE: Almost three years ago Musk asked Parag Agrawal what he got done last week. Now he’s asking every federal worker the same question”, User wrote in the post. Responding to this post Musk wrote, “Parag got nothing done. Parag was fired”.

The post discussed above shared an image of Musk and Parag’s conversation, that led Musk to fire CEO Agrawal. In the screenshot, a post-Agrawal said, “You are free to tweet-is Twitter dying? Or anything else about Twitter it’s my responsibility to tell you that it’s not helping me make Twitter better in the current context. Next time we speak, I’d like to provide you with perspective on the lever of internal destruction and how it is hurting our ability to do work. I hope the AMA will help people get to know you, understand why you believe in Twitter, and trust you-and I’d like the company to get to a place where we are more resilient and don’t get distracted, but we aren’t there right now”.
In the response, Musk had asked Agrawal: “What did you get done this week?”. According to the Moneycontrol report, The public exchange was viewed as a major fallout between the two, which eventually prompted Musk to fire Agrawal from X.
Elon Musk’s Email To Federal Employees.
According to reports, Last night, musk’s department sent an email to all the federal employees of agencies including the Securities and Exchange Commission, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention, and others with the subject line reading: “What did you do last week?”
According to a Reuters report, The Email asks employees to reply to the email they have received with five bullet points summarising “what you accomplished at work last week” and copy their managers. The email sent from a human resources address gives employees until 11:59 pm EST on Monday to respond.
The subject line of the Email sent to employees reflects Musk’s poser to Agrawal three year back.
