Conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, who is under custody for a multi-crore fraud, and money laundering case, has proposed a $3 billion investment to Open AI’s chief executive Sam Altman. Chandrashekhar wants to contribute to Sam Altman’s Indian Operations.
According to the Hindustan Times report, Chandrashekhar wrote a letter to Sam Altman saying, “As you and your company are now working towards becoming a part of India’s National AI Agenda, I want to play a small role by investing in Open AI of 1 Billion USD, immediately, and further extend it to another 2 Billion USD over the next five years for your Indian operations.”
“Sam why go to Venture Capital Investors, why should the Big Boys always have the fun, Sam, please just take my money,” Chandrashekhar added.
“In the meantime, as we are not personally, able to meet, I wanted to address this heartfelt note to you, while you are considering accepting my Investment for your Indian operations of 1 Billion, USD, immediately.”
“Sam, just like how you started from scratch, I too have started from a humble beginning, the only difference is a lot of baggage, has been tagged along with me, i.e., False allegations and legal cases, however, none to date have been proved against me,” Sukesh Chandrashekhar said.
Sukesh Chandrashekhar sent this “Letter of Intent” from India’s biggest prison through a firm named Anantam Legal.
Sukesh Chandrashekhar’s Offer To Karan Johar.
The investment policy of Sukesh Chandrashekhar is not the first time where he has made it while being in prison. Last year, Chandrashekhar made an offer to filmmaker Karan Johar to buy a 50%-60% stake in the Dharma production.
This letter was also sent through the same legal firm, saying that he was interested in buying the controlling shares in Dharma Production, saying this offer was ‘non-negotiable’, and added transactions could be completed within 48 hours if terms are agreed.

In November last year, Chandrashekar claimed that he has a relationship with Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez, and said even he was planning to invest $135 million (₹1130 crore) in a Los Angeles Studio to dedicate it to his ‘lady love’.
Open AI’s Sam Altman’s Reaction On This Proposal.
Reportedly, the letter sent from one of India’s biggest prisons through a legal firm Antaman Legal, has cautioned, raising questions on the validity of such an investment offer from a man in financial crimes. On this investment proposal, neither Open AI nor Sam Altman has reacted to the Chandrashekhar proposal.
