At the age of 8, he started Painting and soon he made 9 thousand from this venture and bought the shoes. And you can’t even believe he gained 20X returns from stock investing at just 13 years of student. His school management banned him in 9th grade because he used to provide loans to students at a 48% interest rate. He was giving Rs 500 but taking Rs 700 back with interest included. As you know India’s school management doesn’t allow practical business learning that’s why the principal banned Shreyaan Daga.
He made the biggest decision when he was 15 because he was inspired by Gautam Buddha’s life which is why he left his home to live life away from a materialistic world where the world doesn’t interrupt. Because Gautam Buddha got salvation at a very young age. As he was distributing his belongings such as slipper, wallet, and bicycle. While donating his bicycle to a poor boy he saw a good smile on his face from then he determined to do something for such a child. Now started his OLL…
OLL Edtech Startup A Detailed Insight
In India, almost 9.8 crore students graduate, and 7.2 crore students who graduate have no skills such as Technology, Creativity, or so on. And without skills no companies are hiring in their companies or even they cannot start their own business.
In India, there is no awareness about these skills or business knowledge as school management banned Shreyaan Daga when he started his business in school, if anyone wants to learn these kinds of things then such students can’t afford the expensive courses because they are either poor or don’t want to invest this much and lastly there are no teachers available who could teach these kinds of skills practically.
This is a problem that most Indians face but they even don’t know so if anyone could give a facility where Indians could learn these skills and that is affordable as well then a big business could be made. Analysing all these problems Shreyaan Daga launches OLL. It is a platform where students from the age group of first grade to tenth grade, learn essential skills such as public speaking, robotics, coding, and financial education online with live classes.
In OLL there are 6 hero workshops that provide online live classes but if it is made compulsory from offline then they conduct that as well. Courses are certified by STEM and UNESCO which is given after completing the course. They charge a Rs2000 annual subscription fee per student and in just 18 months this business generated Rs2.2 crore revenue.
As per the shark tank stage, one month’s revenue goes to Rs 28 Lakh, and out of this net profit was Rs 18 Lakh. His vision is to reach out to 1 billion (100 crore) students in India to upskill them.
What is the Difference or Unique in Their Courses?
As per Shreyaan Daga, this course is not recorded but it’s a live and interactive course where students learn things live and practically for example: if students are learning mobile app development then they create mobile games instead of playing and when learning AI then generate AIs like Shiri. Once they complete then they are provided certification in STEM and UNISCO.

In the end, Peyush Bansal and Vineeta Singh offered a final deal of Rs 30 lakh at 6% of the company but with negotiation the deal was done at 5% of the company. There is an interview going viral of Shreyaan Daga saying, ” I was not given the fund which they had promised in the show.
