Do This If You Face The Problem.
If you are stuck in this situation, you must wait for 48 hours. Your bank needs time to resolve the final status of your payment. There is the possibility that the issue will be resolved during this period.
After 48 hours, check the history of the relevant UPI App to find out whether the payment was processed successfully or failed. If payment marks as successful, it means the amount has been transferred to the receiver’s account. If you fail, you will receive a refund within 3 to 4 business days.
If you don’t receive the refund within 4 to 6 business days, instantly contact the bank’s customer support and provide them with the transaction details for quick resolution. But suppose the issue is still unresolved, it’s time to take the last leap, reach out to the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) helpdesk for further assistance.
Remember, your money in the bank is safe, it will either reach to expected receiver or will be refunded. You just need to be patient throughout this situation, and avoid multiple retry attempts quickly, as it will trigger fraud prevention measures.
